Using the site
You're welcome to watch and listen to sermons, find events, ask questions, share testimonies, book time with the Pastor and learn about the church. Please use the site lawfully and respectfully, and don't try to disrupt it, access areas you aren't invited to, or send automated or bulk submissions.
What you send us
When you submit a question, opinion or testimony, you confirm it's your own and doesn't contain anything unlawful, hateful or abusive, or anyone else's private information without their permission.
- Questions and opinions are anonymous and may be read aloud or shown on screen during a service or livestream. We may lightly edit them — to fix typos or remove inappropriate language — and we may choose not to use some.
- Testimonies are shared publicly or during a service only if you choose that when submitting. You can ask us to take one down at any time.
You keep ownership of what you send, and give us permission to use it in these ways.
Sermons and other content
Sermons, music, images and other material on the site belong to The WordCity or the people who made them. You're welcome to watch, listen and share links for personal and ministry use; please ask us before republishing or using them commercially.
Counselling
Time with the Pastor is pastoral care. It isn't a substitute for medical, legal, financial or professional mental-health advice. If you're in danger or need urgent help, contact emergency services.
Giving
Giving is voluntary. The site shows our bank details; transfers are made through your own bank, and we don't collect card or bank login details on this site.
Other websites
The site links to and embeds services such as YouTube, Mixlr and social media. They have their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them.
Admin access
The admin area is for invited church team members only. Team members must keep what they see there confidential and use it only for church purposes.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it “as is” and can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the site.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
